Two older people aged 71 and 60 have been targeted in two separate burglaries in Ballymena.
The incidents happened at Old Grange Avenue and Carniny Road.
Both burglaries were reported in the early evening.
The 71-year-old man was in the house at the time.
Police are keen to apprehend those responsible for these burglaries and they’re appealing for the help of the public.
“Someone out there knows who is doing this. Maybe next time it could be your relative targeted. The only way to stop it is to catch them. If you have any idea who did this please let us know. Even if it is just a suspicion we can look into it,” said a police spokesperson.
