A 19-year-old man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday, November 12) in connection with an alleged assault on a man outside the City Hall.
The 23-year-old man was allegedly attacked in the Donegall Square North area of Belfast during the early hours of Saturday morning (November 10) .
The 19 year-old has been charged with grievous bodily harm. As is normal procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Detective Sergeant Dane is keen to hear from witnesses, or anyone who was in the Donegall Square North area just before 2am yesterday morning.
Anyone with dash-cam footage, or anyone who may be able to assist with the investigation is asked to contact detectives at Musgrave on the non emergency number 101, quoting reference 122 of 10/11/18.
