A man has been left in a ‘serious’ condition following an assault which occurred near the City Hall in Belfast.
The 23-year-old man was reportedly attacked at Donegall Square North in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, November 1). He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are described as ‘serious’ according to police.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested and is currently in police custody.
Detective Sergeant Corrigan is appealing to anyone who was in the area around Donegall Square North just before 2am this morning to get in touch.
