There’ve been a number of burglaries over the night in the lower Ravenhill Road area of south Belfast.
Police said residents woke up to find that their homes had been entered overnight.
“We have had a few unfortunate calls this morning where residents are waking up to find that their property has been entered and items taken during the night,” said a police spokesperson.
They say the majority of calls have been from the Lower Ravenhill area.
“If you think someone has been in or tried to get into your property please ring us. Make it as difficult as possible for these people to get access.
“Lock doors and windows, close blinds and if you hear anything suspicious ring police. We can also offer crime prevention advice if required,” added the police spokesperson.
