Amazon is set to open a new delivery centre in Belfast, creating around 15 jobs.
The opening is due to a high demand for its services.
The new ‘delivery station’ will be based in the Titanic Quarter.
The 8,500 square metre facility will replace the current building which opened in 2018 as temporary premises.
There are already 25 people employed there, but the company said it now requires more floorspace to meet its needs.
Amazon will take on around 200 drivers when the facility opens.
Kerry-Anne Lawlor, country director for Amazon Logistics, added: “We are excited to open a delivery station in Belfast where Amazon’s 20+ years of operational expertise, technology advancements and investment in transportation infrastructure is enabling faster delivery for customers than ever before seven days a week.”
