Both Antrim Area Hospital and Causeway Hospital emergency departments are under extreme pressure, says the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.
The advice is to use alternative care and treatment options where possible.
Please only attend if your condition is urgent or life threatening is the advice.
“We apologise for the long waits and ask that you bear with our staff who are facing sustained pressure and are doing all they can to care for our most vulnerable patients,” said a spokesperson.
