There has been a series of attempted burglaries in the Lisburn area.
The incidents occurred during the early hours of Thursday morning (6 May) at Tonagh Avenue, Tirowen Drive, Carntogher Road, the Green and Glebe Walk.
Detective Constable Brennan said it is believed that sometime between 1am and 2am on Thursday morning, entry was gained to a house in the Tirowen Drive area.
The intruders were disturbed and made off and nothing is believed to have been taken from the property.
Police also received reports of other attempts to get into a number of houses in the area during this time. It is believed that three men had been trying door handles of properties in these areas – however no entry was gained.
One of the men is thought to have been wearing a light coloured hoodie while the other two were wearing dark clothing, one of whom was also wearing a puffer jacket.
