The Ballyclare May Fair is set to return next year.
The working group will meet in November this year to start the preparations for the event. Full details will follow but the fair will of course include a mixture of local music and entertainment, family fun activities, street performers and more.
Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Councillor Billy Webb said it was great news.
“Around 20,000 visitors enjoy the event each year which is great for Ballyclare town and our local businesses,” he added.
Councillor Jim Montgomery who has recently joined the Ballyclare Working Group said he has always enjoyed this event.
“Myself and my colleagues will be working hard to ensure this is the best fair yet!” he added.
Further information on the Ballyclare May Fair including attractions, programmes and workshops will be released in 2022.
