Milkman, Anna Burns’ Man Booker Prize-winning novel is under negotiation for a film adaptation, according to The Bookseller.
Published by Faber, Milkman has sold almost a quarter of a million copies for £1.6m across all editions, according to Nielsen BookScan.
The Bookseller is reporting that Anna Burns ‘is in the process of negotiating a film deal.’
Ms Burns became the first Northern Irish writer to win the £50,000 Booker Prize.
Ms Burns’ agent David Grossman and Faber have said that there was nothing to currently report on the deal.
