A security alert which closed the M1 in both directions has been declared a hoax.
The alert began last night at the Kennedy Way roundabout.
A suspicious device has been examined and declared to be a hoax.
The M1 was closed in both directions between Lisburn and the Broadway intersection, but has now re-opened.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police on 101, and quote reference number 2188 of 24/08/20.
