Castlederg boy Billy Caldwell is said to be in a ‘life threatening’ condition after suffering a series of seizures.
Cannabis oil which was being used to treat him was removed from his mother at Heathrow Airport on Monday. Billy had gone 300 days without a seizure.
The oil remains locked a short distance away in the Home Office.
The 12-year-old was admitted to St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, last night (Thursday). But this afternoon he was transferred to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The confiscation and life threatening situation in which Billy is in has angered people on social media. Many have called for legalisation of cannabis.
