Motorists are advised to leave extra time for journeys through Belfast tonight as a band contest and the second Belsonic take place.
Disruption is expected in the Sandy Row and Donegall Road area through to the Broadway Road Roundabout between 7.30pm and 10.30pm tonight.
Arterial routes will remain open and alternative routes will be made available, according to police.
Thousands of music fans are expected to attend Belsonic at Ormeau Park in south Belfast. Traffic restrictions will be in place – with cones placed near the venue to maximise public safety, minimise traffic disruption and secure emergency vehicle access.
Private coaches travelling to the event will be permitted to park along the embankment and should approach the venue from the Ormeau Road.
Fans are advised to park in the city centre and either walk to the concert, or use the special Translink Metro and rails Services. For more information visit www.translink.co.uk.
Police say there will NOT be any drop off points in the area around the event site. Drop offs and pick ups should be arranged at locations well away from the event site.
