Callous scammers are targeting church members across Northern Ireland.
The people are being contacted by imposters pretending to be a member of a church, and they are being asked to buy gift vouchers and to send them to the number provided.
The criminals may be getting details from church websites.
If you receive a message like this, the advice is to phone the person directly on a recognised number.
Anyone who has been contacted by a scammer can report it to the PSNI.
