A sum of cash was stolen from a service station on the Antrim Road in North Belfast by a man armed with a knife.
The incident happened at approximately 10pm last night (Friday, 14 August).
Two members of staff have been left extremely traumatised by their ordeal.
Police say the man demanded a member of staff open the till.
The two staff members tried to leave – however the suspect grabbed a woman by the arm leaving her with red marks on her wrist.
When they did leave, the suspect remained in the store and stole a sum of cash before leaving.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the incident.
