Causeway Hospital is the latest to announce that it is under ‘significant’ pressure this evening.
Currently, there are 24 ill patients awaiting admission to the main hospital, according to the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. Antrim Area Hospital Emergency Department also remains busy.
The message once again is to please only attend the emergency departments if you require urgent care.
Antrim Area has suffered in recent days due to the second COVID-19 surge.
