Children have been seen playing on the railway lines near Downshire in Carrickfergus this evening (Saturday).
And police are asking parents to speak to their children about the dangers of playing on train tracks.
The incident may have led to delays earlier, according to Translink.
“If you’re planning to catch the train this evening unfortunately there may be a slight delay,” a PSNI spokesperson said earlier.
“Translink informed us of some kids playing on the line near Downshire/Kilroot.
“We have checked the area and it is now clear.
“Please, please speak to your children and make them aware of the dangers of playing on train tracks. The consequences of a slip doesn’t bear thinking about!” added the PSNI spokesperson.
