A convicted murderer who was on the run from Maghaberry Prison has been arrested in the Antrim area.
Christopher Francis Kerr who’s 32 and originally of Cairnduff Drive, Ballymena, escaped from custody today while out of prison on temporary accompanied release.
He’s currently serving a prison sentence for the murder of Michael McIlveen in Ballymena in 2006.
Earlier, police said he was considered dangerous and should not be approached.
