A trial over the killing of a Cookstown prison officer in 2012 has collapsed.
David Black who was 52, died after being shot while travelling to work along the M2.
Damien McLaughlin, 41, from Kilmascally Road in Ardboe, was accused of aiding and abetting murder, possession of articles for use in terrorism, preparation of terrorist acts and belonging to a proscribed organisation.
He appeared at Belfast Crown Court earlier today (Thursday).
On Tuesday the judge ruled that the evidence could not be relied on, and today the prosecution said it would not be offering any other evidence.
