A crossbow bolt was discovered lodged in the downspout of a house in Ballyclare last night.
No one was hurt but police say this was ‘reckless’ and ‘idiotic.’
Any they are appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to get in touch.
“We don’t know where it came from but the potential danger cannot be ignored. Imagine if this lethal object had found a different target, just think about that. Assuming this was recklessness, it was extremely idiotic and thankfully no-one was hurt,” said a police spokesperson.
Police say there are offences associated with the use of crossbows.
