Do you leave the television on for the dog when you pop out?
Twitter user Stew @stewnotstu is staying at his mum’s and when they nipped out for an hour, his mum left the telly on to keep the dogs company.
He’s been asking users if they also keep the TV on to keep their pets company, and many do…even for cats…..
I’m staying at my mum’s place for a week. We’ve just nipped out for an hour and she’s left the TV on for the dogs. If you have a dog, would you/do you do the same thing?

I have not watched TV in years, but I turn it on for my dog when I'm gone. The voices make them less lonely. I also choose a channel with no violence in the programs. ??

We always leave the TV or radio on for the dogs when we go out.
It makes them feel like someone is at home with them.
