Pet owners in Antrim are being warned to be vigilant after dark chocolate was reportedly thrown into gardens belonging to dog owners.
The squares of chocolate containing 80% cocoa were tossed into gardens in the Parkhall/Steeple areas.
Pet owners are being reminded at how toxic chocolate can be. They are also being asked to thoroughly check yards and gardens before letting dogs out .
