An Antrim family has been reunited with their dog that was stolen three years ago.
When Reilly was taken from her family home, her owners were devastated.
However as she was microchipped, they clung on to the hope that she would be found.
And that day came on Tuesday when Reilly was found straying in the Castlewellan area and brought to Corran Kennels in Downpatrick.
Staff scanned her and discovered that she was chipped but unfortunately the phone number wasn’t up to date.
However, her owner had added an email address and staff were able to get in touch to tell the family the good news.
Staff sent an email and from the photograph, you can see that there were tears of joy all round when they were reunited.
