Police have said ‘miraculously’ a driver was able to walk away from this crash in Mallusk, Newtownabbey.
The one-car crash occurred on the Hydepark Road at around 1.20am on Thursday.
There were no reports of any serious injuries.
“More often than not, I find that pictures do the talking,” police said in a Facebook post.
“Thankfully, or miraculously, everyone walked away from this incident on the Hydepark Road. How, I will never know.
“Please, please adjust your driving for the conditions. Slow down.”
And police are warning that the dark mornings and evenings can add to the dangers.
“It’s January which means that it’s dark in the mornings and dark in the evenings. Some of our roads are extremely greasy and there has been a heavy fog in parts for most of this week during the night and into the early morning.
“With driving you not only have a responsibility for yourself, but for your passengers, other road users and pedestrians.
“This particular incident is currently under investigation. If you can assist in any way, please contact Police on 101 quoting reference number 85 of 23/1/20,” added the police spokesperson.
