Dublin’s St Patrick’s Day parade will not now go ahead due to fears over the spread of coronavirus – that’s according to RTÉ.
The new cabinet sub-committee on Covid-19 took the decision following advice from the National Public Health Emergency Team, according to reports.
Cork has also cancelled its parade.
The Belfast parade is set to go ahead.

Meanwhile, Saturday’s match between France and Ireland is the latest Six Nations fixture to be postponed due to concerns over the coronavirus.
The decision follows earlier steps to postpone the Ireland v Italy and Italy v England fixtures.
