An eighth person has been arrested this morning in Antrim as part of an investigation into allegations of ill treatment of patients at Muckamore Abbey Hospital.
The 57-year-old woman comes from the Antrim area.
The PSNI has been investigating incidents of alleged abuse at the hospital for people with mental health needs and severe learning disabilities.
