Major Investigation Team Detectives investigating the murder of 31-year-old Ryan McNab on Friday, October 21 in Rathcoole, have been granted an extension for the detention of a 24-year-old man.
The man was arrested on suspicion of murder and the extension runs until 11.30pm on Sunday (October 23).
Police have appealed for people not to share images of the victim’s death at Barna Square.
This is the third murder to occur in Rathcoole in the past 18 months.
