Former Northern Ireland secretary James Brokenshire has died aged 53.
He was diagnosed with lung cancer just over three years ago.
The family of the Conservative MP said he was ‘a loving father to his three children, a devoted husband to Cathy and a faithful friend to so many.’
Mr Brokenshire’s condition worsened on Sunday and he sadly passed away peacefully yesterday evening.
