Four people were taken to hospital after a police vehicle was involved in a crash with a BMW car in east Belfast.
It happened on the Upper Newtownards Road which has since reopened.
Police say shortly before 4:30pm a PSNI vehicle was involved in a two vehicle collision.
The driver of the police vehicle was responding to an emergency when there was a collision with a BMW, being driven by a member of the public.
Four people were taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which are not believed to be life threatening at this time.
Enquiries are underway to establish what occurred and anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have captured it on their dash cam, is asked to call police on the non emergency number on 101, quoting reference number 1558 of 31/05/21.
