Over £600 has been raised in an initiative set up to help those families affected by the blaze in Ballyduff.
Up to six homes in Ballyduff Gardens were damaged in Saturday night’s blaze, which is believed to have been started deliberately.
The organisers behind the fundraising drive are Stevie and Cathy Taggart.
Four families have been left totally devasted tonight…These families are not allowed in their homes at the moment and don’t know what will happen next or how long it will take…A home carries a lot of memories and we all have things we keep that are irreplaceable. Well I would say all four families have lost a lot…All they basically have are the clothes on their back…Any money raised will be able to help them in getting essentials or putting towards rented accommodation etc. Let’s show these families our support.
