Two Tim Horton branches are among those across the UK which will open for drive-thru customers.
Glengormley and Connswater will open from Friday, May 15 on a limited basis.
Driver-thru and deliveries via Just Eat and Deliveroo will be the only services operating. There will be no customer access to the restaurants.
It is anticipated that a full menu will operate. Staff temperatures will also be taken before shifts and protective gear will be worn in various areas of the restaurants.
Tim Hortons is the latest of a number of chains to open for collections and deliveries amid the coronavirus pandemic. Social distancing with their delivery partners will also be put in place.
The chain will also be donating coffee and donuts to local healthcare workers. NHS workers will continue to enjoy a 50 per cent meal discount introduced back in March for the foreseeable future.
The Glengormley location was the third Tim Hortons to open in Northern Ireland.
The two outlets in Belfast, one in Fountain Street, and a 24-hour drive-thru at Connswater, opened in 2018.
The first outlet’s opening resulted in hundreds of people queuing along Fountain Street in Belfast for a taste of the chain’s coffee, while people also got in line for the opening of the Connswater branch.
The Tim Hortons brand was founded by a professional ice hockey player, who wanted to “create a space where everyone would feel at home”.
