Four more people have died as a result of contracting COVID-19 in Northern Ireland.
The death toll has reached 422.
Two of the deaths occurred between 9.30am yesterday (Wednesday) and the same time this morning.
A total of 3,984 people have now tested positive for the disease in the province.
The figures were contained in the Department of Health’s latest briefing which was released this afternoon.
A total of 656 patients are being treated for COVID-19 related symptoms in hospitals. The number of people in care home with the coronavirus has reached 75.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Boris Johnson intends to announce the UK’s plan to move forward from lockdown on Sunday.
The three weekly review of the regulations must be completed by May 9.
