Go the eggs-tra mile this Easter at the Fairhill Shopping Centre in Ballymena and help families affected by cancer.
The centre, which has partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support for the year, is asking for customers to purchase an extra egg and donate it in their Easter garden in the main mall.
Natalie Jackson, the Fairhill Centre Manager said they wanted to be able to give to those who are having a tough time at the moment and living with cancer.
“So, we are appealing to our many customers when buying an egg, to buy an extra one or two, so that we, with the help of Macmillan Cancer Support, can give a child a smile this Easter with our Easter Egg Appeal, as every egg you shell out will go to a family affected by cancer,” she added.
“For many of us, the Easter holidays are a time for family. For just a small amount of money you can help another family and let them know you are thinking of them. We will be very appreciative of any egg, small or big, being left in our Easter garden on the main mall.
“And hopefully there will be plenty of smiles whether giving or receiving the Easter eggs!”
The Fairhill will be collecting Easter eggs until Tuesday 23 April.
Over the Easter weekend, the centre is also running kids’ entertainment from littl’uns drama workshop to crafts, including face painting.
Activities take place on Easter Saturday with the crafts on Easter Monday. These events will be located in a kid’s corner outside Next and New Look.
