A jewellery box, containing a gold watch and bracelet, has been stolen from a house at Cooldarragh Park in north Belfast.
The burglary was reported to police just before 7:25am this morning (Thursday, December 20). It’s believed entry was gained to the house sometime between noon and 3pm yesterday (Wednesday).
Police are appealing for witnesses and information.
Detective Sergeant Moffett is appealing to anyone who was in the area between noon and 3pm yesterday and saw any suspicious activity, or anyone who has been offered similar jewellery for sale in suspicious circumstances to get in touch with detectives at Musgrave on the non emergency number 101, quoting reference number 235 20/12/18.
Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
