Police are investigating a burglary at the Methodist Church on Station Rd, Greenisland.
It happened sometime between Christmas morning and this morning (December 27).

Meanwhile, police will start to use a platform called Nextdoor to interact with the public in the new year.
You input your details and you will then receive an authorisation code which is a security feature. Only those who live in the area can sign up to your community page, unlike other platforms such as Facebook where generally anyone can join a group or page.
“Next door allows you to communicate with your neighbours about issues, recommendations, advice etc. So where do we as the police come in? Well the hope is to use it to keep you updated more and to interact. We CANNOT see what you are discussing on your community pages. You will see if we post something and the only stuff we can read is replies directly to our posts,” said a spokesperson,.
Addresses have to be confirmed and real names must be used. Only neighbours will be interacting and this eliminates trolling and abuse.
