Fashion brand Gucci has been caught up in a racism row after complaints that a women’s jumper resembled a Black person’s face.
The ‘balaclava’ style jumper, called ‘blackface’ features a cut-out mouth that is outlined in red. It has since been withdrawn from sale.
Gucci has issued an apology for the offence caused.
The jumper retails at around £688.
