Hairdressers snip into action from next Friday

Hairdressers, nail bars, barbers and beauticians will be allowed to open from next Friday (April 23), as the NI Executive gave the green light to close contact services.

Outdoor attractions can re-open, and students can take driving lessons and tests.

Competitive sports will also begin again.

Non-essential retail can reopen from April 30 along with gyms.

Other key dates for possible re-openings are: outdoor licensed and unlicensed premises from 30 April and indoor hospitality, including pubs and hotels, from 24 May.

Households cannot mix indoors but you can form a bubble with another household.
