A handbag has been stolen from a car parked in the chapel car park in Randalstown.
The incident has prompted police to issue a warning to people to be vigilant – and most importantly to never leave items of value on display inside vehicles.
This bag contained a number of identifying items relevant to the owner, police have said.
“Folks we want to remind people to be vigilant about their valuables and ask people not to leave valuable items visible in their cars when unattended.
“If anyone has any information on this theft please contact Police on 101 quoting reference 1158 11/08/18,” said a police spokesperson.
