Official photographs of Prince Louis have been released by Kensington Palace to mark his first birthday.
He’s the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s youngest child, and has a life of royal duties ahead of him.
Taken by the Duchess, the photographs show the prince in the leafy grounds of the family’s home, Anmer Hall which is situated on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
Prince Louis is fifth in line to the throne.
His sister, Charlotte, will be four on May 2, while his brother, Prince George, turns six on July 22.
The Duchess has recently spoken about the importance of outdoor play, having designed a garden for Chelsea Flower Show based on her own woodland at Anmer Hall.
“Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish,” she said.
