A number of homes were evacuated and roads closed in west Belfast due to a security alert this morning.
The alert in Glenalina Gardens has now ended.
ATO examined a suspicious object discovered in the area and this has now been removed for further examination.
All roads in the area have now reopened and residents allowed to return to their homes.
Residents were accommodated at Whiterock Leisure Centre.
