Hurricane Dorian has claimed the lives of at least five people.
The hurricane will move dangerously close to the Florida east coast later today and into Wednesday evening. It will move toward Georgia and South Carolina on Wednesday night and Thursday, and over the North Carolina coast later on Thursday.
Bahamas Prime Minister Hubert Minnis said Dorian took at least five lives on the Abaco Islands and called the storm ‘a historic tragedy.’
“The devastation is unprecedented and extensive,” he said.
