Jewellery and money was stolen when two homes were burgled in Aughnacloy, Co Tyrone.
An attempt was made to break into a third house in the area over the weekend, police say.
The three incidents happened sometime between 11pm on Saturday (July 27) and 12.30am on Sunday (July 28), in the Orchard Park and Rehaghy Road areas of Aughnacloy.
Amounts of jewellery and a small amount of money was reported to have been stolen.
Detective Sergeant McGarvey said the investigation is ongoing.
“I would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact detectives at Cookstown Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 162 28/07/19,” said the Detective Sergeant.
