Kevin the Carrot has captured the hearts and minds of Christmas shoppers who are eager to get their hands on their own plush toy. The cute character originally appeared in the Aldi Christmas advert in 2016, and viewers were delighted to see the addition of his partner Katie the Carrot. Now they’re back.
And there’s more – the offspring Chantenay, Jasper and Baby Carrot soon appeared as well as the villain Pascal the Parsnip who was determined to be the root cause of disquiet.

Consumers have been rushing to get their own Kevin The Carrot, but supplies quickly ran out in many branches and shoppers have reported fights in store over the toy which is being sold to benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Customers of the discount chain have taken to social media to complain about lack of toys available, and alarmingly, people are showing their scrooge side as the carrots are appearing on eBay for over £100.
Did I scrap over a #KevinTheCarrot toy in Aldi this morning?? NOPE. Did I pick up one that a woman with an armful had scrapped for and dropped by accident and leg it to the till. YEP….. #winning
