Jet2.com has triumphed in the 2019 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards for airlines, scooping five awards.
For the second year running, Jet2.com is the only UK and European airline to be recognised as one of the Top 10 airlines in the world – coming 9th on the list.
In addition, the UK’s third largest airline has won both the Best Airline – UK and Best Low-Cost Airline – Europe prizes for the third year running, as well as the Best Economy Class – Europe award for the second consecutive year. It has also been recognised as Best Airline – Europe.
The TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards for airlines are based on the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings for airlines worldwide gathered over a 12-month period. Of over 20,000 reviews on TripAdvisor, almost 90% of Jet2.com’s reviews are rated as ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’, with travellers praising the airline in particular for customer service, cleanliness, value for money and check-in & boarding.
Earlier this year, the company took delivery of the last of 34 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft, taking its fleet size to 100, whilst providing more comfort for customers through an improved and roomier cabin design.
