Eighty jobs have been created in Glengormley as discount superstore The Range opened its fifth outlet in Northern Ireland.
The new 40,000sq ft store is situated next to Tesco at Northcott Shopping Centre. On Friday, people queued in the rain to be among the first shoppers to walk through the doors.
It opened on the same day as a new branch in Hemel Hempstead in the south east of England.
It brings the total number of Range stores across the UK and Ireland to 165.
The site in Glengormley was the former Northcott Shopping Centre which was home to Tesco, Primark and the In Shops.
