There’s great news for Love Island fans as the show will run for two seasons next year, ITV has announced.
From 2020, viewers will enjoy two series each year due to popular demand.
Love Island will be back next year in an all new location, with the first series of the year being recorded in South Africa.
The summer series is then set to return to Majorca.
The show is hosted by Caroline Flack and has been viewed by more than six million fans at its peak.
The reality TV show is currently the most watched programme of the year for adults aged 16-34.
The latest series is the fifth to grace our screens.
ITV’s Paul Mortimer, head of digital channels and acquisitions said off the back of a record-breaking year, they’re delighted to be bringing an extra series of the biggest and sunniest show to the 2020 schedule.
“Love Island has proven yet again to be the perfect format that engages younger audiences. In response to this viewer appetite, a new batch of young singletons will deliver some highly anticipated post-Christmas romance and drama from our new and luxurious location,” he added.
