A 22-year-old man was robbed of cash by a gang of men, one of whom had a Swiss army knife, in south Belfast yesterday evening (Sunday 24 October).
The robbery happened at approximately 7.45pm.
The man was walking along the Donegall Road close to the train station when he noticed a group of around 4 or 5 men on the opposite side of the road.
One of the group, who is believed to have been carrying a Swiss army knife, crossed the road and demanded money from the victim, who subsequently handed over an amount of cash.
The man is described as being aged in his early 20s, approximately 6 feet tall, of slim build and he was wearing a grey hooded top.
