A 25-year-old man is due to appear in court in relation to a stabbing incident which occurred at the West Strand Beach area of Portrush on Saturday (15 August).
The man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and three counts of criminal damage. The victim was treated for arm injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
He is due to appear via videolink at Londonderry Magistrates Court on Monday 17 August. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service
A 20-year-old woman also arrested in relation to the incident has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
