A 31-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman have each been charged with child cruelty.
They are expected to appear at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court on 19 March.
They are charged with causing or allowing a child to suffer serious physical harm, cruelty, and perverting the course of justice.
The charges relate to injuries sustained by a child in the Dungannon area which were reported to police on 11 September 2020.
As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
