A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with a robbery which occurred at the Post Office in Ballynahinch yesterday afternoon (10 June).
He is charged with a number of other offences including robbery, assault on police and driving whilst disqualified.
He is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court on Saturday 12 June.
A 33-year-old woman who was also arrested has been released on bail.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
