A 47-year-old man has been arrested and a telehandler recovered following a search on the Crumlin Road on Tuesday (21 September).
The search was conducted at commercial premises as part of an investigation into the theft of the telehandler forklift which was reported stolen from a property in the Glenarm area in April.
North Belfast District Support Team with the assistance of officers from Air Support Unit, Tactical Support Group, Armed Response and Dog Section, made the arrest.
Sergeant Grant Behan said the telehandler was recovered along with an electric stun gun device.
The man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and possession of a prohibited weapon. He currently remains in police custody assisting with enquiries.
